Leaves may turn brown if soils are too moist or too dry.

Growing this plant is trouble free and durable with little maintenance. The plants are well watered and allowed to dry slightly before watering again and apply fertilizer twice a month with a balanced fertilizer. This plants is best grown in bright indirect light or in part sun locations with protection from afternoon sun. There is no serious insect or disease problems but roots may rot in poorly drained soils. Scale and mites may appear so have to watch for fungal leaf spot too.
